Creatively and efficiently selects appropriate footage for air. Edits other projects as assigned. Other duties as assigned by supervisor. Benefits: Education Required: Experience Required: At least 2 years of experience editing in a television newsroom required. College degree preferred. Previous Final Cut Pro or other non-linear editing experience necessary. Videography skills a plus. Organizational skills a must. Other Requirements: WXIN Fox 59, a Tribune Broadcasting station, seeks a full-time Non-Linear Editor to join Fox 59 News. Bachelor’s degree preferred. At least 2 years previous editing experience and organizational skills required. Non-linear editing and videography skills required. Must be able to work weekend shift.
