Job Description:
Fort Wayne Indiana’s WISE-TV NBC 33 and WPTA-TV ABC 21, has an immediate opening for a DIRECTOR OF SALES.
This position reports to the President and General Manager and will lead all Sales operations. This position is responsible for achieving budgeted revenue and share targets for our broadcast and internet properties. You will be charged with developing the most buttoned up, professional sales staff in the market, as well as establishing and maintaining relationships with our key agencies and advertisers.
The successful candidate will possess the following:
• prior hands on experience in preparing the Sales Department revenue and expense budgets and forecasts
• DOS and General Sales Manager experience
• Inventory management control and pricing expertise
• Strong leadership skills
• 10 years combined Broadcast TV management experience as an LSM and GSM
• Excellent computer skills
