Production Specialist
Tucson, AZ
Shift:
Full-time
Education:
High School Diploma required. College or technical school degree preferred. Broadcast Production or Communication emphasis preferred.
Skills:
Candidate must have full working knowledge electronic studio production operations including lighting, studio camera operation and audio setup and mixing. Ability to cleanly switch and mix audio in a fast paced newscast. Excellent written and verbal communications are necessary as are computer proficiency, the ability to make decisions and work closely with others under pressure and strong organizational skills.
Experience:
Experience preferred. Directing/TD experience a plus.
Duties:
Operate audio for live AM newscasts and live talk variety shows. Setup and mixing of microphones and monitors for live performances by vocalists and musicians. Studio maintenance, setup and strike. Assist in troubleshooting and maintenance of audio equipment. Train other staff on audio operation. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
