Position: Studio Host/Co-Producer P/T Company: Intermountain West Communications Co. Station(s): KYMA-TV Job Type: parttime Hours: TBD Compensation: / hour Job Description: Understand and implement the news philosophy of the news director Co-Produce studio show. Host studio show. Shoot video, write news copy, edit video for news Make public appearances as may be required for community and station events; Make contacts and gather information about news issues and events in Arizona Review and edit scripts written by other staff members Establish a good working relationship with the newscast director and the production crew to ensure a well-paced, clean show Conduct in-studio interviews on a wide range of topics. Work with reporters, assignment editors, and photographers to make sure KYMA is completely, accurately, and fairly covers news events Perform other tasks related to the position as assigned Benefits: 401K Education Required: Experience Required: Other Requirements: Creative thinker with great writing skills Experience as a television producer and host.
