Education:
College degree in related field preferred; Journalism background preferred
Skills:
Ability to operate electronic news gathering equipment for the shooting and editing of television news videotape; ability to operative live microwave transmission equipment; must have strong journalistic judgment to support role as a photojournalist and field producer.
Experience:
Minimum 1-2 years of photojournalist experience preferred.
Duties:
Operate electronic news gathering equipment including a live truck for the coverage of a wide variety of news stories for use in television newscasts; will be trained to operate the satellite truck; screen and log news and sports videotape; must be able to work well with reporters and independently in the news gathering process; must be capable of field producing recorded live and taped news events; must be a proficient editor on Edius or similar non-linear editing system; will be trained to move stories to our web site; must present story ideas that are timely and must be able to cover a week long on-call shift.
