Job Description:
KPAX in Missoula, MT, has an opening for an Interactive/Online Account Executive.
Job Summary:
Responsible for prospecting and generating new online business developments, as well as developing, growing, and servicing existing online accounts generated by the Online AE.
Also responsible for determining online client needs and providing online creative ideas and solutions to fill those needs.
Interactive/Online Account Executive is also responsible for meeting and exceeding budget expectations.
Essential Functions:
Prospect, target, and execute professional needs analysis sales calls, effectively communicating the value of online and online marketing opportunities.
Work with Online Director and possibly sales team on dual sales efforts, targeting specific clients with specific marketing solutions.
Make new business calls and customer service calls each week.
Create annual, quarterly, monthly, and weekly sales plans that are designed to meet and exceed station’s online sales goals.
Keep focused on daily online sales activity while continuing to develop new and innovative online marketing opportunities.
Project and report online sales revenue on a weekly basis.

At least three years of successful sales experience preferably in media sales.
Thoroughly familiar with business-oriented software; Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent communication and presentation skills mandatory.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
New or non-traditional media sales experience a valuable plus.
Solution based selling background.
Should have experience in creating promotions, contests, and sales campaigns that solve client expectations and goals.
Proven record of responsibility-not necessarily in management, but must be able to show ability to work independently to meet deadlines.
Demonstrated record of developing new business.
Reliable automobile transportation with adequate insurance. Valid driver's license.
