Position: News Anchor Company: KPAX Communications, Inc. Station(s): KPAX-TV Job Type: fulltime Hours: Weekends Compensation: / year Job Description: KPAX-TV in beautiful Missoula, Montana is seeking a talented and dynamic weekend anchor/reporter to join our award winning news team. The successful candidate will anchor and produce 5:30 and 10:00 PM weekend newscasts. In addition, candidate will be responsible for reporter assignments and managing the newsroom on weekends. Candidate will also report three days a week. Previous anchoring, producing and reporting experience preferred. ENPS experience is a plus. We need a newsroom leader, who is well organized and thrives under deadline pressure. Successful candidate must have the ability to shoot compelling video and use a non-linear editing system. Applicants must be able to develop contacts, enterprise unique stories, and be adept at social media. A college degree is preferred. KPAX-TV is part of Cordillera Communications and the Montana Television Network.
