Job Description:
This specialized position requires the applicant to cover news and sports. The news aspect is approximately 60-70% of the total workload. An interest in both local news and local sports is imperative in this position.

KXLH, the market leader in Helena, MT is seeking a committed, energetic, full-time multi-media journalist. A CBS affiliate, KXLH is part of the Montana Television Network, an ambitious news organization that covers the fourth-largest state.
Other Requirements:
We expect honesty, fairness, integrity, respect, openness, cooperation, and a willingness to learn, to work flexible hours, and to perform duties as necessary/assigned. Applicants must: have a college degree in journalism or a related field, correctly use grammar, be computer literate, be able to lift/move/operate professional TV news gear, have TV news gathering and reporting skills, be organized, self-motivated and dedicated to local news coverage, be able to report, shoot and edit, and have a current valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and a clean driving record.
