Weekend Sports Anchor/Reporter
NPG of Idaho (KIFI/KIDK) has an immediate opening for a weekend sports anchor/ weekday reporter.
This person would be a member of the station’s Sports Line team.
If you love to cover High School sports along with the local college and professional teams, then you need to join our team.
Sports Line is committed to local sports and devotes a half-hour program each Friday night to just sports along with our regular newscasts. We also cover the Utah Jazz, area colleges and universities, and a local minor league baseball team.
NPG of Idaho has some of the best equipment in the market with a completely non-linear newsroom using Harris Velocity Editors, XDCAM EX1 cameras and three live trucks with multiple receive sites.
Eastern Idaho is also an outdoor paradise where you can cover fishing, hunting, and winter sports.
Candidates must have experience in reporting sports, either from another professional broadcast news station, or a well produced college or university program. The position will require you to write, produce, shoot and edit your own material for both TV and our award-winning website. .
