Master Control Operator – Part time KMTV-TV Omaha, NE Employment Status: Part-time; must be able to work morning, evenings, weekends, and holidays as assigned. Education: High school diploma; associate’s degree preferred Skills: Candidate must have prior television master control experience or related news production experience; non-linear editing experience; excellent written and verbal communication skills; computer proficiency; ability to work on deadline, anticipate and solve problems required. Experience: One year experience in broadcast or cable operations – master control operations. Duties: Operation of Master Control systems including on-air automation, commercial servers, graphics support systems, microwave and satellite systems, and transmitter equipment. Support in execution of daily newscast production; master control operations, news editing, or other duties as assigned by manager.
