KGUN-TV “The Morning Blend”
Tucson, AZ
Scheduled Days & Hours:
Part-Time; five days a week
Education:
College degree in Broadcast Journalism, Marketing or Communication preferred.
Skills:
Candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong organizational and delivery skills; strong content judgment; must have strong writing and production skills; excellent presentation and reportorial skills; knowledge of journalistic standards as related to the on-air presentation; must be able to work well under pressure and with others to develop and execute compelling programming; must be self motivated and creative.
Experience:
Minimum of 1 to 3 years on-air hosting experience preferred.
Duties:
Co-host daytime lifestyle program; along with the primary host the co-host will conduct on-air interviews with guests and facilitate and/or participate in product demonstrations on the show; daily show prep; post-show meetings will be required; make public appearances/community involvement; front station promos; generate topicals and/or radio briefs for sister radio stations in market; other duties as directed by management.
