Part-Time Promotions Assistant/Remote Tech Knoxville, TN Shift: Part-time Education: High School diploma required; College degree preferred. Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills required; strong problem solving abilities; high work ethics and standards; ability to be a self starter and work independently when needed; ability to meet deadlines and detail orientation; ability to execute and maximize the impact of promotional opportunities for the station; ability to speak in front of groups required; knowledge of office equipment and production equipment required; on-air experience is also encouraged; ability to lift 50 pounds. Experience: Will train Duties: Assist and coordinate in the areas of the promotions department which include image, contests, appearances, station merchandising, advertising and community and public relations; attend promotions meetings; monitor promotion calendar; set up remote broadcasts; load and unload equipment; update station websites/social media sites; record commercials;; other duties as assigned by manager.
