Scheduled Days & Hours:
Full-time
Education:
College degree in Broadcast Journalism, Communication or related field preferred.
Skills:
Candidate must have strong news judgment; knowledge of broadcast newsroom operations required; must have experience producing live news and have familiarity with control room operations; must possess strong communication and organizational skills; good decision making skills; ability to work closely with others under pressure.
Experience:
Minimum of one year producing experience preferred or extensive college experience as a producer. Knowledge of posting news stories to the web a plus. Social media and I-News experience a plus.
Duties:
Produce regularly-scheduled newscasts; work closely with members of news staff, production departments to create compelling editorial and visual content; oversee production and writing of newscasts as well as all news special reports or live cut-ins; edit videotape as needed; other duties as assigned by managers.
