Local Sales Manager Wichita, KS Shift: Full-time Education: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business or related field. Skills: Individual must be a self-starter; ability to lead through vision and values is a necessity; demonstrate organizational and problem solving skills; display strong and effective selling skills; strong analytical and organizational skills; excellent written and verbal communication skills, English/Spanish bilingual a plus; computer literate; ability to be flexible, handle stress, meet deadlines and achieve financial responsibilities. Experience: 3-5 years radio broadcast sales and/or sales management experience required; experience with both agency and direct/retail clients; understanding of inventory management, ratings, marketing, promotions, collections, NTR and Digital Media; a proven track record of revenue success in the radio sales industry with mentoring experience preferred. Experience with Wide Orbit and Matrix a plus. Duties: Be an aggressive leader with the ability to hire, train, coach and develop sales people; coordinate and lead the local sales team to meet and exceed revenue budgets through customer-focused selling; create and execute appropriate customer-focused revenue programs; generate revenue from well organized and executed developmental initiatives; conduct sales meetings, target new business and develop key accounts, plan budgets and execute sales strategies, assist in the development of strategies for customer service excellence.
